Large Hellenistic Gold Shell Pendant, 3rd – 1st century BC
Description: Although a most dramatic piece, this large shell form pendant of high karat gold, is surprisingly lightweight and easy to wear. Made by joining two gold sheets this pendant easily hangs from a double suspension loop at the top.
Condition: Despite some minor scattered dents, intact and in excellent condition overall with no chips or breaks.
