Amy Barovick Paintings

My work bridges mixed-media collage and abstract acrylic painting, often blending gestural marks with layers that reflect the turbulence and calm of natural forces. Alongside these abstractions, I also create a playful figurative series that captures everyday moments with spontaneity. My paintings have been exhibited in New York and Florida, including Caelum Art Gallery, JCM Gallery, and Lighthouse ArtCenter Gallery. Raised in Ossining, New York, surrounded by gardens and nature, I’ve always drawn inspiration from the natural world. I studied Illustration and Graphic Design at Parsons School of Design (NY and Paris) and built a career in design, art direction, and home staging before returning to painting full time. Now based between Palm Beach Gardens and New York City, I create vibrant, layered works that explore movement, color, and the emotional resonance of place.
