I wanted this painting to be ambiguous for the viewer to interpret and create the story that speaks to them. White feathers often symbolize angels. Is she the angel? Or did she find the angel? Is she floating in the water as the leaves swirl about her or is she flying in the air with the wind blowing the leaves about as she reaches for the feather?
