Description

From the trans-human sculpture series,
“Silver” features a hand-laid silver leaf finish
aged with an antique glaze over a vintage
Rootstein mannequin shell.
It’s interior is comprised of contemporary
and antique components including a bicycle
chain brain, cuckoo clock mechanisms,
old radio tubes, circuit boards, a handmade
european doll and an ammeter built by the
artist’s father in the 1950’s.
A pair of charming, hand needle felted
tufted titmice by Brenda Gordon complete
the sculpture by adding a touch of softness.
