Join us for The Burkhardt & Calicchio Winter Art Show at the Palm Beach Art, Antique & Design Showroom Wednesday, January 12th from 4:30-7pm. This exclusive evening will showcase new and exciting works by Ron Burkhardt & Carol Calicchio. These two prominent artist have pioneered their way into the art world with individual poetic styles. Ron, the founder of three contemporary American art genres — Notism, Earth Art Canvasses and LetterScapes, entered the art scene in 2001 after spending years in the advertising industry. His Notism series bring primal and hieroglyphic tributes to letterforms that are intertwined with a scribbled mental map of memory and color. Connecticut-born Carol Calicchio earned a degree from the New York School of Interior Design and also studied painting and drawing at the School of Visual Arts- now residing in Delray Beach. Calicchio’s work is relentlessly positive, beautifully constructed with expressionistic and masterful brushstrokes. Her paintings are at once serious and highly crafted while giving the viewer an uplifting experience, that explore the complexity of light and utilizes the full spectrum of color.
